Dr. Benner began her career in dentistry as a dental hygienist working for six years before entering dental school at the University of Colorado Health Science Center.  Upon graduation and completion of a residency program at Denver General Hospital, she returned to Greeley as a dentist and worked for eight years in this practice before buying it in 1992.  Dr. Benner and her husband moved to Greeley in 1976 from Virginia, where her family lived and she grew up.  Both her children were born in Colorado.  Dr. Benner enjoys skiing, hiking, gardening and  making jewelry.
